Why do all vaping devices leak during their product life? Here are the 3 main causes.
Inside the tank of any vape tank or pod, there is a weak vacuum that helps keep the vape aid from leaking between the joints or flowing through the atomizer coil assembly. A vacuum cannot form if the capsule or tank has broken seals or if its components are misaligned. No vacuum is formed even if the tank or capsule is completely full, with no room for air.
The vacuum inside a reservoir or capsule can break down if there is a change in air pressure, either internal or external. Usually, this happens when you blow too vigorously on the device, exceeding its capacity to handle airflow, but it can also occur due to a change in atmospheric pressure in the surrounding environment. For example, if you take a vaping device with you on a hike in the mountains, the change in air pressure will probably cause some of the vaping liquid to leak from the tank or capsule of the device. This phenomenon cannot be controlled, so it is usually prudent to ensure that the device is only half filled if you plan to spend the day at high altitude.
All vaping devices, whether vape, tank, or pod, are designed to be compatible with e-liquids of a specific viscosity. Most commercially available vape liquids have a moderate consistency, which is ideal for ensuring optimal operation on a wide range of vaping devices. However, some extremely fluid e-liquids may not be suitable for vape tanks equipped with very large wick openings.
